The Butchart Gardens offers 55 acres of wonderful floral display located in Greater Victoria on Vancouver Island. You will enjoy spectacular views as you stroll along meandering paths and expansive lawns.
Experience the lifestyles of the very rich at the end of the 19th century. Craigdarroch Castle is a beautiful historic Victorian-era mansion, built in the 1890s by wealthy BC coal baron Robert Dunsmuir.
Victoria Butterfly Gardens is one of Victoria's most popular attractions. The Gardens are designed and built specifically for the hosting and breeding of tropical butterflies and moths from all over the world.
Trounce Alley is just north of View Street off Government. It has authentic gas lights that line the narrow pedestrian only area and that are over 125 years old. This alley was named for the Victoria pioneer Thomas Trounce. The store to the left of the entrance, W&J Wilson's, has been there since 1862 (the same year Victoria was incorporated as a city).
